NDCC 2019 Community Festival with Guest Composer and Conductor Mark Miller

Notre Dame Children's Choir celebrates the completion of their season with this favorite annual event, welcoming singers from the community to join us in learning new songs and performing in a concert!  We are joined this year by guest composer, pianist, and conductor Mark Miller who will debut a new choral composition written for this occasion and the Notre Dame Children's Choir. Mark Miller, composer, church musician, and social justice advocate, will perform two festivals of his music in the South Bend region including a newly commissioned work, Come, Dove of Heaven. 

A concert of Mark Miller's music titled, Draw the Circle Wide, will be led by the Notre Dame Children's Choir on Saturday, May 4 at 3pm at First United Methodist Church in downtown South Bend. This event will unite children from the Notre Dame Children's Choir will guests from the community to sing music about God's encompassing spirit. Songs include Christ has Broken Down the WallMore Love, Draw the Circle Wide, and a newly commissioned work Come, Dove of Heaven. If you have a child between the ages of 7 and 17 who is interested in singing in a free, day-long festival and concert with the Notre Dame Children's Choir, visit sma.nd.edu to register.
